Seems a shame to develop these cars to race them twice, and I don't for a second believe anything Audi OR Peugeot say about world economic blah blah blah!

Also a bit of a shame the Acura's couldn't put up a better fight. OK they'll probably win the ALMS by default which gives them an automatic entry for Le Mans for 2010, but they'd better do something in the motor department because a 4 liter screaming v8 is never going to realistically or reliably take on the diesels, Judds, the turbo petrol's or even the 6 liter Aston (if still legal) over 24 hours.

Judd already tried it with the 4l v10 and Olive Garden Lola's etc. Sure was quick in qual but hamstrung in the race to ensure reliability

Peugeot have not learned from Le Mans last year. Sure they have the quickest car, but that ain't everything. Reliability and fuel efficiency are also up there with speed.

As an Audi fan, I'd love to see the factory go in to Formula 1 - they'd give Mercedes and BMW a run for their money.

Killer race Bravo McNish and team the smartest team wins again! I've heard the same tired story from the blunderring Peugeot team before we have the worlds fastest sportscar ! when will they be able to manage it to win the big prize ? Bravo again to Audi

Unbelievably thrilling race! It absolutely mesmerized me, I had to watch for whole 12 hours. Mighty Audis are just unbeatable, Peugeot are bunch of morons, they are not able to win against brand new car even after more than two years of 908's development. Vorsprung durch Technik, Teutonic power, Audi for 2009 Le Mans victory!!! :)

Boo,
Audi are not entering rest of ALMS and peugeot are only doing 1 LMS race.

Is it just me or is audi winning everything getting boring??? It's very exciting along the way and producing some great races but its starting to feel like we know who is gunna come out on top at the end - really predictable - and that takes the shine off it.

If peugeot don't win le mans this year we probably won't see them again til 2011 - audi will have nobody to race and that will be boring!

It is a shame given how close Audi and Peugeot are, that we are only going to see them race each other a couple of times this year. Means they'll probably runaway each with the ALMS and LMS, instead of actually making it a competition. Roll on Le Mans

Peugot should have used Bourdais in last stint. Montagny is quick but Bourdais has more night driving experience around Sebring. Hope Peugot wins Le Mans.
