Beechdean pulls out of British GT Championship

Having missed the second race of the weekend at Rockingham in protest against equalisation in the GT4 class, Beechdean Motorsport has now confirmed that it is to withdraw from the British GT Championship with immediate effect.

The team, which faced a battle against numerous Ginetta G50s with its Aston Martin N24, made the decision following the latest round of the season at Snetterton due to a 'lack of equalisation' in the class, which has thus far been dominated by the Ginetta teams.

Beechdean had been due to bring a second car into the series later in the year but will now evaluate other options before making a decision on where it will race for the remainder of the campaign.
