X-Bow set to join GT4 battle

Having been dominated by the Ginetta G50 so far this season, the GT4 class of the Avon Tyres British GT Championship is set to be boosted by the addition of the KTM X-Bow for this weekend's meeting at Knockhill.

ABG Motorsport entered the car into the season opener at Oulton Park, with Marcus Clutton and Phil Keen running alone in the Supersport class.

However, should last minute tyre testing go to plan, then the unique KTM will move into the GT4 class where it is set to go up against a trio of G50s.

With Nigel Moore at Le Mans with Team LNT, Jody Firth is set to run alone in the Team WFR car, while Hunter Abbott and Gary Simms will once again share the Rob Austin Racing entered machine.

Ian Stinton is set to share the Stark Racing car with Ginetta G20 championship race winner Paul Marsh.
