Grip issues hinder Rutter at Knockhill

Jack Valentine echoed Rutter's frustrations, the Crescent team manager vowing to find a way of improving their fortunes for the upcoming rounds.

“There's not much I can add to what Michael's already said. We're disappointed, we can't deny that. But also we all feel for Michael. Two front row qualifying performances from three is evidence of his speed. Even today there were times we could feel hopeful. But the results just haven't come.

“So, we have to face it, we're in a position again where we need to find a solution to get us back to the sharp end of the racing.”

Enough with Tommy Hill. His replacement at Althea Honda in WSBK, Lagrive, is already doing better than he did. Yes the bike is crap but when your replacement does better than you...well that's all that needs to be said. Why do some think he deserves a BSB ride?!?!? The R6 Cup proves that he's a SS rider for now and nothing else. MAYBE and that's a big maybe, a backmarker privateer BSB ride but no way in hell a factory ride.
