There's an open ride with the DFX team in WSBK. Rutter and the Duc seem to be a quite nice combination.

With all due respect to poor Regis though who would need ample time to get back to the WSBK tracks (hopefully sooner than later though).

Get well Regis and good luck Rutter :p

I think this is the right decision. There's no point in the team having him ride 'round for no reward and I'm sure it's not what Michael wants either. Shame, but such is life. Rutter's been around for a long time now and he has a lot of experience, but I don't know what options will be available for him. Hopefully something is. Anyone got a spare Duke?!

Think Michael Laverty will end up in WSS after his good performance this weekend. As for Rutter leaving, i believe his failure to perform is more down to the team than him. I heard rumblings last year the team were a bit unprofessional and riders do not enjoy riding for them.

After being given 3 'awesome' R1's and reading Walkers "Its like cheating" article in MCN i thought it might be different, but yet again they have let themselves down. Lets remember rutter for the great rider he has been....

I would like to see James haydon back racing although highly unlikly with Rob Mac as hee dropped him last time for being poor. Does anyone no if Haydon has retired ? You see him being a pundit but is that by choice or is it due to him not being able to get a ride etc ?

Chris Burns is looking for a ride.

I think the problem is that, althoug the R1 is a great bike, it seems not to be a easy bike to develop, yet a very complex piece of engineering with the big bang engine and so, and Rob Mac Racing doesn't have factory suport. We can see Yamaha France struggling in WSBK although having factory support.

Also in Le Mans 24h the private R1s struggled.
