There's an open ride with the DFX team in WSBK. Rutter and the Duc seem to be a quite nice combination.

With all due respect to poor Regis though who would need ample time to get back to the WSBK tracks (hopefully sooner than later though).

Get well Regis and good luck Rutter :p

WTF!!!
I thought he would have at least given it another race or two, things in that team must be well and truly fubar'd if he's leaving this early. Could this be the death rattle for rob mac racing??? i expected more from walker with what he was saying pre season but he seems to be doing worse here than he did on paul bird's honda at the tail end of last year in wsb which doesn't really make the team look very good now does it. I hope the replacement puts some fire into the team cause god knows they need it

Rutter's body language when being interviewed during the North West was an equal mix of pi55ed off/utterly disheartened. He's usually well chirpy and has a glint in his eye, but it just wasn't there.

Seems that the R1 is a bit of a dog if you don't drop on with the settings... Anyone got one of Corser or Haga's old bikes knocking around for Blade to have a run on? Even Simon Andrews' old bike would be better for him.

Right rider, wrong bike. Does anyone doubt Rutters abilities? He may be a bit long in the tooth but I don't think another rider will do very much better.

Give Plater a go! He's proved he can race both superbike & supersport in one day.
Walker next to part company?

When was the last time anyone did any good on a Rob Mac bike? Hislop, Emmett, Rutter, Walker, Haydon, Mason, Hill, Harris ect are all top riders who didn't perform on Rob Mac's bikes. Nothing wrong with the bike, nothing wrong with the riders over the years and from the looks of it no shortage of cash. So what's left to change? Maybe they should try Cadburys Boost paint again.

Bring back Mark Griffiths and his Renegade crew. Then Rutter and Byrne can bve reunited and we might see them having fun again.

The team got their bikes really early this pre-season & dids loads of tests at different circuits, yet still when they turn-up for the races they get pi55ed on by Airwaves(who only got the bikes a week before Brands!)as well as some of the Privateers Cup riders.
Like many others who have posted i think the reasons for the lack of results is more rooted in the Team management than with the riders.

I think he jumped what with the TT coming up he probably didn't rate his chances on that bike for that team so now he at least has a chance of trying to secure a new ride for the TT.
