Wow thats bad luck. Crash seems to be saying Brookes is at fault, but he's a pretty experienced racer too.. misunderstandings can happen when guys are doing such different speeds on the sighting lap.

I don't have eurosport was it the lap where they come round and sit on the grid and wait or was it the warm up lap when they come round and then the light go out and the race is underway

It was on the sighting lap where they leave the pits and ride round to the grid. Most riders just wave to the fans etc. Brooks was going into Melbourne way too fast by the look of it (camera was distant) and walloped Ginters, who's bike caught fire!

Just been confirmed broken tib and fib.what is it this year with crashes and broken limbs etc,there will be a shortage of riers now,personally i would like to see Gary Mason given a go as he seems to be in good form at the moment in the privateers.

Melbourne hairpin? You would think Brookes would know that corner being an ozzy, lol!

Aparently, the HM Plant Honda's brakes failed. If Josh was unhurt does anybody know why he didn't start the race?

He didn't start as they only have one bike, like a lot of other teams, Airwaves included.
