Josh, you were going at a ridiculous speed for a siting lap, braked far too late coming into the Melbourne Loop, was riding like a complete moron and broke a competitors leg, completely ruining his chance of challenging for the BSB title. You were then given a ridiculously light penalty for this moronic act. Clear enough now??

Josh should be a man and say it was his fault, say sorry and get on with it, however Tuxworth might not see it that way. If Josh doesn't get his finger out,HE'LL BE OUT!!

Good grief, can't this ahole just admit that he screwed up and offer an unresearved apology?
People would respect him more if he did, rather than offering lame excuses.
For sure, the chips on both shoulders brigade will support him to the hilt, but his visa should be withdrawn and send him home. He will not be missed.

Can't understand how this has become a "oh u english just don't like aussies" rant. You do all know JB ran into a Frenchman don't you? You do realise we Brits don't like the french either. Or the Germans, or the Yanks, or the... well to be honest we dont like anybody.
Truth is he Josh a mistake. Was quite a big one and someone else is paying for it, but its motor racing. You make a mistake going fast on bikes and people get hurt. Its part of the sport.
Its also what happens when u let folk from other countries race on our tracks. (I AM JOKING BY THE WAY BEFOR THE PC POLICE START TO CRY).

Someone earlier asked if an incident like this had happened before, Bayliss and Capirossi collided during a warm up lap in 2003, fortunately only resulting with a bruised arm for the latter and neither parted company with the bike.
I wish Sylvain a speedy recovery from this unfortunate incident. Obviously Josh would not of intended this to happen and I feel the punishment is suitable. Remember anything can, and from time to time, does happen on a race track, usually when least expected. "WARNING MOTOR SPORT CAN BE DANGEROUS, DESPITE THE ORGANISERS MAKING ALL REASONABLE PRECAUTIONS, UNAVVOIDABLE ACCIDENTS CAN HAPPEN, IN RESPECT OF THESE YOU ARE PRESENT AT YOUR OWN RISK" :-o

What you mean another Australian argh!. And who was also all around them (err nobody) plus it was a race and not the sighting lap, big differnce

Over the years I've seen hundreds of sighting lap crashes(including collisions) But just because it's an Australian(which I am not) invoved, the idiots that fequent this site seem to attack with so much venom it's sickening. What I was getting at(in case you missed it) is the double standard shown by many on this forum

I can't believe the unfair criticism of Josh Brookes. Just wondering if the reason he was going so fast for the corner was because of a problem with his brakes. The guy won the world supersport race there last year so should certainly know his way around the track.
