"What I am concerned about is that they are not told by Yamaha just to ride to help Spies' cause"

LOL. Yamaha doesn't have to tell them anything. Since Spies was here last year, they will be behind him anyway!

I would usually be cheering from the rafters at the thought of this being a Yamaha man...unfortunately this Yamaha man no longer has Haga on the bike so i have mixed feelings about this. Yamaha will be chucking everything they have at these bikes so that they can try and take as many points off Nori as possible. Fingers crossed for my boy that they don't take too many, i'm hopeful that this will be the case. Last year was not a happy time for Nori and his fans due to his behaviour on track but overall Donny has been good to Nori...let's hope it's a doozie anyway as i'll be there for the full weekend experience :)

I'm really looking forward to seeing the BSB guys racing at this level. What I am concerned about is that they are not told by Yamaha just to ride to help Spies' cause. Because they are being helped by the WSBK team in BSB, I have a horrible feeling that may be the case.

Hadn't contemplated that possibility until you suggested it Ian. I certainly hope that's not the plan as it's a pretty low way of manipulating the championship.

Still reckon Nori and The Ben will be up the front regardless though hopefully. Though a wildcard win is always fun, and that wouldn't intefere really with anything....

I think Leon and James will do some damage at this track. The team has gelled really well together this year. New bikes, New riders. I think Tom Sykes will be in trouble if either one of these 2 Airwaves rider beat him in both race. The BSB bikes should be down on power a little bit because they have stricter rules in what they can and can not do to the motors.

I'm excited to watch LEON ride. The guy has some great talent and now he's on a factory team with all the support in the world he needs in BSB. The results has shown

Maybe I'm missing something. How can they help Spies? The only way that could happen is if they beat Haga. Frankly I don't see that happening.

You can bet your bottom dollar that Yamaha bring Camier's & Ellison's bikes upto WSBK spec for this so they can put a dent in Nori's lead - wow talk about mixed emotions - I always want BSB riders to spank WSBK riders as wild cards but I want Haga/Spies battle for the championship to be free from intervention from outside the WSBK championship - I think Wild cards shouldn't get WSBK points - dunno how this may affect race results tho' .

I expect ALL the Brits to whip it out. This is the home round and it's 'open season'. Time to show up or shut up. Show the fans what you're made of. It's gonna be good.

Wow! Great news. With Haslam, Rea, Ellison, and Camier, no way Spies wins this one. We need some new winners in WSBK so hope for good show from the brits.

No funny business Yamaha! Let Spies work for it.
