"What I am concerned about is that they are not told by Yamaha just to ride to help Spies' cause"

LOL. Yamaha doesn't have to tell them anything. Since Spies was here last year, they will be behind him anyway!

You don't see the BSB Yamahas challenging Haga Pam? Haga's SUPERPOLE time, on qualifying tyres and not under race conditions, from 2007 was only 0.3 faster than Camier's best RACE lap from a few weeks ago on his BSB spec bike. 2008 was a wet race so times aren't comparable.

I think you underestimate the speed of the BSB runners. The history of them as wildcards in WSBK is very impressive and I think both of them will prove a serious threat to Haga's chances of winning, or even getting a podium.

Oops guys, Spies raced here last year in Motogp, and was 8th in the wet qualifying, so imo he would dominate like in usa. Anyway I hope Haslam will be able to fight for podium, and the British armada push Haga down, so Spies can cut more points back.

What would be great would be a Haslam with an initial "R" winning on a Black Norton :) :) :)

"The BSB bikes should be down on power a little bit because they have stricter rules in what they can and can not do to the motors."

Someone is still living with last years rules, the BSB specs are the same as FIM WSBK rules, it was changed because it turned out to NOT save money running the lower spec as the parts needed replacing more often and it also caused issues with teams wanting to go for a wild card having to either have a slower bike or build a different spec engine for the event.
