I dont understand the logic in having oulton as the last round of the season?

I was watching BSB on TV yesterday and the amount of leaves that were on the track was silly.

If it was raining more or if someone was to run wide off line the leaves would cause riders all sorts of problems.

The 2010 British Superbike Championship calendar will see only a handful of changes over this year's schedule.

Brands is one week after WSB Donny....Palmer and the Flammini's need to stop the one-upmanship before it get's silly. This has the potential to take spectators away from both series.....what is it they say...pride comes before a fall? It is pathetic that they can't sit down and work something out rather than trying to put each others noses out of joint...i know the Flammini's put Donny there on purpose..they are as bad as each other.
I'll be doing both because fortunately i only live 35 miles from Brands so it's not too much of a pain but i know that's not the case for most and it's just not right

I agree AnDrEwMcK, would be nice to go to NI and/or Wales. Dunno if Anglesey is up to scratch though, Pembrey certainly isn't. Shame Mondello had to go, but if it was losing money like they said then it's no surprise.

Every year I hear suggestions of removing Knockhill due to travelling distance and weather, yet all the riders and teams love it and the fan turnout has been great, even in bad weather like 2 years ago. I got sunburnt this year. :D

Cubikrude: Would'nt worry about Dony it could be closed by then. After all my years involved with BSB I swore this year that I would never return to this Ar5e hole of creation. The only thing that could change that is IF Moto GP ever returned. :p

Indeed the Donington round is extremley likely to be cancelled as are the WSB and BTCC Rounds at the circuit.
They are about to go under and have lost the GP, the circuit is in pieces.

So if that is a possibility then where on earth will WSB be going in the uk? It will be a f-ing joke if we miss a round in the uk due to this. Most riders in years and the possibility of no uk round.
Maybe Silverstone will pick it up? It's all speculation atm...and if...if Donny goes under at it moves, the date will still be within a week of Brands BSB which is bloody daft

The triple headers are a good idea imo but that shouldn't mean they cannot goto another track. Isn't Rockingham a tad soulless though?
I like the idea mentioned earlier about going to NI or Wales for a race weekend

Glad to see BSB increasing in popularity. Im a big fan of MotoGP and WSBK and only watch the odd BSB race now and again. However I watched this weeks Saturday race race, and all on Sunday and it was great racing. The commentary team is also really likable with Jack and James. I also agree that N.I should get a round, building a new International Track somewhere near lough neigh to host BSB, BTCC and other motorsport events would be awesome.
