You can say what you like about Rob M but he always gives a young British rider a crack and he should be loudly applauded by all REAL British bike fans for that.

Thats a little niave MD.......I hope Dan does well but he's most likely there with a wedge which will pay Hodgson's wages. That's been accepted practice in BSB for years......

Think you guys get too obsessed with the money issues - at the end of the day rob's not gonna put anyone with money on his bikes and he always gives young brits a chance - just wish he could build better bikes!

Having tried to help a successful young rider get a ride in a decent BSB supersport team I can confirm that one of the first questions is 'how much money are you bringing' or 'this is what we would expect you to bring'........and we're not talking small change!

Its the way it functions unfortunately, there's just not enough money to go round so secondary riders in teams are often as not expected to fund the salary of the 'headline' rider.

Yes he paying but he is also quick when he doesnt fall off, but for his long term future i think staying in supersport for another year would be better. Didnt he also pay for a wildcard run in worldsupersport last year must have a minted dad or summat fair play to him.

Well I've been called a 'f*****g mug' (nice - thanks 'sunday'. Shows real class.) and 'naive' by those who think he's bringing a big chunk of money to the ride.

So - evidence?

Did Gowland pay big cash for the ride this year?

i can tell you 100% gowland had to pay for his ride and paid alot and didnt get the rewards, bike simply isnt good enough, maybe rob might listen to the riders advice and do the bits that need doing on the bike,

and let me tell you hodgson will have his sponsors bringing big money to the table to, yeah he is giving a young rider a chance but he would offer anyone else the ride in the paddock if they bought wedge to the team!!
