What about those of us who can't afford eurosport, we now can't watch any super bike racing. Being on a pay channel will reduce viewer not increase them It would have been better on BBC or ITV even if it is on one of the digital channels.

thank goodness BBC has still got Moto GP (who we think gives the best coverage - the best commentators and no adverts), else me and my partner would not be able to see any bike racing as we do not have any of the digital channels. Why is it these companies seem to think that everyone does!! And even if you have got Eurosport unless you have something like Sky plus you can't watch one and record the other.

Sorry guys, but I would rather watch ITV's efforts than nothing at all. Eurosport may be great if you have it, but I can't run to the extra hardware and subscription. I started motorcycling - trials, scrambles, ISDT etc - 50 years ago and still try to follow as much as possible, which leaves me with MotoGP and an hour of each BSB meeting. Oh yes, and the unwatchable internet stream of WSB.

see Julian Ryders quote on superbikeplanet.com - seems the BBC have showed what they think of best British GP prospect since Bazza. saturday eve Qatar GP live on BBC 3 coz the final of Crufts is on so no terrestrial coverage of opening race. Perfectly OK to have five hours of Rugby follwed by match of the day the other saturday.

yeah i remember it, i was sitting at that very corner and it was quite nervous waiting for him to get up. people slag off jack burnicle but did anyone else hear the commentary when julian ryder filled in for him, whitham sounded so uncomfortable.jack and jim have a good connection with each other. But if ryder and hewen did the bsb that would bring back memories of the 90's

Andrew, i am aware that the BBC cover it, living in then uk tends to give you that knowledge lol. My point was that Dorna were speaking about not having it on Eurosport and extending the terrestrial coverage, not just the uk either. Again this could just be talk to get the price up but who's to know?

And yeah, Whitham did win the one WSB race
