Will he be having a team-mate next season?

binza - no team mate due to lack of budget - that is also why Atsushi Watanabe has transferred to the Relentless Suzuki team.

I was at brands for the trackday, so it was cool to be on the same track as a Motogp rider, ..he had a little mishap at druids,..but who has,nt...did nt do any surfing this time!!.
Anyway for first time around this tricky curcuit he was under 50''s easy. It was also fun to watch the faster racers tring to keep up ....nice one Guintoli...

Can't help thinking Guintoli deserves better than to be in a domestic championship (no disrespect to the BSB guys or the Crescent Suzuki team). He is a world class rider IMO and could well do a job like Lavilla did in 2005.Good news for the championship though as the 2009 BSB field was starting to look a bit thin.

Well Pete Guintolli, only got a ride in GP because he was mates with Herve Poncharal and it was Dunlop that secured his seat. It doesnt make them any less a rider whatever championship they are in. Maybe he was fed up with all the travelling. A lot of riders do get fed up with being on planes all the time and perhaps he willbe more financially secure in BSB. It cost a fortune to travel to all the circuits and not all riders get their expenses paid for.

I HEARD THAT THE TEAM HAD TO SECURE FULL FACTORY BACKING BEFORE SYLVAIN WOULD COME- WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE. REF RIZLA''S PULL OUT, IT HAS BEEN SEVEN YEARS, THATS FANTASTIC AND LEAVES AN ICONIC BRAND AND COLOUR. AS FOR WATANABE I DONT THINK HE OFFERED THE TEAM MUCH AND NOW THEY CAN CONCENTRATE ON TRYING FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP!
