Great result for Cummins, what happened to Guy Martin?

Guy Martin, meanwhile, has been ruled out of the Macau Grand Prix for the second year in succession after crashing heavily in free practice around the Guia circuit.

The Bike Animal Honda rider came off his bike on his first lap out, the subsequent impact knocking him unconscious and resulting in a trip to hospital.

Although his main sponsor claims Martin has not suffered 'serious injuries', FIM rules state that any rider knocked unconscious in an impact cannot race for another seven days, thus ruling him out of any involvement for the remainder of the weekend.

well done conor,that was out of the blue m8...i think that the fim rule stating that any rider who gets knocked out cold during an accident is completely correct , but i'm sure guy martin wont be seeing it that way,i'm glad he's not hurt too badly,saved by those massive sideburns...cool...

Totaly agree this is REAL racing. Its Dan Linfoots first Road outing and imo a real find. Its a pity some more of the Irish boyos are no show Lougher Farral etc, but these guys ride for peanuts so lack of funds must be the reason
