Jaime's form this year may have been a surprise to many, but it hasn't been a surprise to Jaime's engineer Mark Owen and I. Jaime is absolutely fantastic in high speed corners and on high grip circuits. He's very good at getting the best out of new tyres, which means he's good in qualifying. He's very consistent, and I think that's been his strongest attribute this season. He knows what it takes to win a championship and doesn't let the pressure get to him.
Brendon is without doubt one of the quickest drivers out there. He is has put in some fantastic performances this season, in qualifying especially he has left the team wondering how he can go so fast, but I think he would be the first to admit that he hasn't made it easy for himself this season.
Brendon is naturally very quick. At a new circuit he can learn the track in three laps, and be setting the pace in six. He has great natural ability. He has a very different driving style to the other drivers, he likes to rotate the rear of the car with the brakes, using the back of the car to change direction. His technical knowledge has also increased massively this year while working with Matt Callaghan, his engineer. In fact Brendon has grasped the technical side of the car so well that he is helping out with our F3 Euro Series programme.
Mathematically of course, Oliver has the greatest chance of winning the 2008 title, but with two races to go, there's still a lot to play for. But one thing is for sure, after one of the closest and exciting seasons for years, it will be a deserving champion that finally takes the title this weekend.
