Jarak in at Jetalliance

Jetalliance has revealed that Czech driver Jiri Jarak will join the team for the eighth round of the 2008 FIA GT Championship season this weekend in France.

Jarak, who finished second in the GT2 class in Brno at the wheel of the K plus K Motorsport Porsche, will take the place of Jetalliance team owner Lukas Lichtner-Hoyer at the wheel of the #36 Aston Martin DBR9 and team up with regular driver Alex Muller.

Karl Wendlinger and Ryan Sharp meanwhile will be chasing a second straight win in the sister car.

“For sure, it will not be an easy task for me,” Janak said. “I have never driven the Aston Martin DBR9, and I have never been to Nogaro either! But what I appreciate a lot is that I have been given a chance to drive in a full professional team with the car on the highest level.

“I am now trying to get familiar with the circuit by playing Playstation and I hope that I will be able to show my best performance!”
