Hexis Racing AMR has confirmed that it will return to the GT2 class of the FIA GT Championship for the German round of the season at Oschersleben on 21 June.

Stefan Mucke and Frederic Makowiecki will again share driving duties at the wheel of the Aston Martin Vantage having impressed on the first outing of the year for the team at Silverstone – where the car posted the third quickest GT2 time during the race.

Aside from the return to the main series, the team will also hope to continue its solid start to the FIA GT3 European Chamspionship season, with Mackowiecki and Manu Rodrigues looking to build on their win at Adria to improve on second in the championship standings.

Julien Rodrigues and Thomas Accary will share the sister Aston Martin DBRS9 as the team seeks to maintain its lead in the teams' standings.
