FIA GT title joy for Andrea Bertolini and Michael Bartels at Zolder.
Vitaphone Racing Team's Andrea Bertolini and Michael Bartels won the FIA GT title for the third time today.
Third place in the last round at Zolder, Belgium, gave them their second straight championship and third overall after topping the standings in 2006 and 2008. The pairing have become the first ever crew to win three crowns.
It was also a famous day for Maserati as the Modenese company secured its twelfth title since 2005.
The race meanwhile was won by the #33 Maserati driven by Bertolini and Bartels' Vitaphone Racing team-mates Alessandro Pier Guidi and Matteo Bobbi.
Anthony Kumpen and Mike Hezemans took the runners-up spot, 20.354 seconds further back in their Pekaracing Corvette.
