The 2010 calendars for the FIA GT1 World Championship, FIA GT2 European Championship and FIA GT3 European Championship, as published by the FIA World Motor Sport Council (WMSC)
Following a meeting in Paris, the FIA World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) has finalised the calendars for the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship, FIA GT2 European Championship and FIA GT3 European Championship.
The FIA GT1 schedule expands from the eight races held in 2009 to as many as twelve next year, though seven of them – Abu Dhabi, South Africa, Canada, Belgium, Hungary, China and Brazil – remain subject to confirmation. There are nine meetings on the FIA GT2 European calendar, and six for FIA GT3.
Following the announcement that the Monaco Grand Prix has been moved forward by a week to 16 May, due to fears that the jewel in F1's annual crown was too close to the Turkish Grand Prix in Istanbul – originally only a week later – the Brno and Paul Ricard dates remain open to amendment by the WMSC in December.
