Solid start for Essex Porsche at Dijon

Team Essex has started the latest test of its Porsche RS Spyder after hitting the track at Dijon yesterday [Sunday].

In collaboration with tyres technicians from Dunlop, various set-ups were tried on the car during the opening day of the test.

On Sunday, Team Essex lapped the circuit in a time of 1m 06,7s, making the car significantly quicker than the most recent sportscars to have tested at the venue.

Indeed, the team was just a second and a half off the lap record posted by Alain Prost during the last Formula 1 event at the circuit back in 1984.
