RML wins top MIA award

RML has been taken the Business Excellence Award for Business of the Year at the annual Motorsport Industry Association business awards.

The company, which competes in the Le Mans Series and is also behind the Chevrolet World Touring Car Championship programme, took the award as a result of nominations from fellow MIA members who voted for companies they feel have achieved outstanding performances in their field over the last year.

“I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of the RML Workforce,” RML chief Ray Mallock said. “It is a reflection of the whole team's achievements during the last year.”

RML will run a Mazda-powered Lola Coupe in the Le Mans Series this season, while the Chevrolet arm of the company will enter the new Cruze model into the WTCC for the first time.
