Le Mans Series and sports car racing fans have the opportunity to be a VIP guest at an exclusive day hosted by Le Mans 24 Hours victor David Brabham, at Silverstone this Saturday [12 September], on behalf of his Racing4Charity organisation.

The 'behind the scenes' experience will offer the chance for just 30 guests to meet and spend the day with Brabham.

The sports car veteran will talk about winning Le Mans at his 16th attempt and his American Le Mans Series title hopes before he heads back to the States and Petit Le Mans later this month in an attempt to extend his championship lead.

Brabham will also give especially organised guided tours of the Aston Martin and Team Modena pit garages, giving guests a unique insight into race preparation and the challenges facing both team and driver over a race weekend.

In addition guests will have the chance to meet fellow ALMS star Marino Franchitti, who will kindly host a question and answer session with Brabham, while Team Modena drivers Antonio Garcia and Leo Mansell will be just some of the other special guests expected to drop by throughout the day.

A series of bespoke auctions will also be held, offering a fantastic selection of signed racing memorabilia to raise funds for NARA (The Breathing Charity) and Malaria No More UK.

“This is the first time we have hosted such an event, so I hope Racing4Charity's efforts will be well supported at Silverstone,” Brabham noted. “We've certainly got a fantastic day in store for our guests, providing a unique insight into the world of sports car racing. Tickets cost just £185 which includes circuit admission, free parking and all-day viewing from the hospitality suite situated on the Upper Level. Breakfast on arrival, a buffet luncheon with wine, plus afternoon tea and light refreshments throughout the day is also included.
