Aside from the racing, a Parade of Legends will take place over two laps of the newly built circuit which will see Roger Harvey, Jamie Dobb, Dave Watson, Justin Banks, Mark Banks out on track.
Former World Superbike star Carl Fogarty won't be taking part in the Veterans race, where Briton's triple world champion Dave Thorpe will lead the home hopes, but 'King Carl' does look set to take some part in the event. Other big names from the road racing world also expected at Mallory include Leon Camier, Cal Crutchlow, Chris Walker, Simon Andrews, Karl Harris and Glen Richards.
Youthstream, the Italian company behind the world championship, will now start setting up the infrastructure for the event from Tuesday 27th May.
"The whole process has gone smoothly; we've had good build up to the event with Mallory Park's assistance," declared Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities, the event promoter. "There is a willingness to work and get things right. It is different to other road race venues."
The on track action at Mallory starts on Saturday 31st May at 09:30 with practice and qualifying. Racing will commence on Sunday 1st June at 12:00.
