Hahahahahaha! The only reason he's doing it is because he won't have to compete against Stewart and get his a55 handed to him!

Reed is a solid rider with two championships, but he is the bridesmaid of Supercross. He hasn't and won't win a championship when going head-to-head with the likes of Stewart or Carmichael (back in the day).

Not sure if it's nerves or bad luck, it just isn't going to happen.

He will have his hands full with Villapoto.

Damn shame the battle between Reed & Stewart can't continue into the AMA outdoors arena. Imagine the amount of interest this would generate, or would Stewart blow them all away & make it a no contest, hmmmm.. I guess we will never know now will we?

If Bubba raced, i still think Villopoto would beat him outdoors, Bubba is more of a Supercross rider, where as Villopoto is more suited to Motocross, but it would be a great contest. i will say though that Bubba is mentally weaker than most riders out there, over the years he has just crashed when miles out in front, or (especially when he was racing the goat (carmichael)) when fighting a opponent closely, for more than a few laps, it has always puzzled me that, he is by far and away the most naturally talented but he seems to play mind games with himself..... but in saying that taking the mx season of is a good thing cause next year in SX it will be tough with VP and Pourcel, he must be fit

Bubba aint racing because he signed a SX only deal with L&M Yamaha, this is also the reason he's not wearing Fox Racing clothing anymore as they dont sponsor riders with SX only deals.

Bubba is wanting to race outdoors this year, he's been testing at competitive edge MX track recently. However as the team he races for have done SX only for the past 2 years and I dont think they have the set-up to go race outdoors. However I think they are looking into doing it, and we may see JS7 do some wildcards over the season

I dontthink we should give James any crap, he will be racing quite a bit this summer. The team wants to do at least a few GP's this year (Seb Pourcel?) and im sure we will see him at every race that has National coverage.

Barcia is Real Deal
Feel bad for Dungey and the three Euros, cause they dont hav a chance. The kid was already goig a sec faster a lap than Tyla at GH, and Tylas beenpacticing there for what seems like 6 mo.

I commend Reed for racing outdoors. They are more a of a grind, and more physical than SX. Yes, riders get hurt racing SX, but the speeds on MX is greater and the danger of injury is more as well.

IMO Reed wants to show he is a great all-around rider, not just an SX specialist.

From what some of you are saying, it should be a good series. Would be nice though if James were racing. I don't think he is quite as strong outdoors as he is in SX, so the battle at the front could be awesome.

SX is totally intense but MX just has a nicer flow: more elevation changes usually and the wider tracks allow alternate lines.

You people should shut the hell up and go look back at James kicking Chad butt outdoors. Where he passed him then waited for him and then repassed him. Use you tube and you will see it. So once shut your pie hole.
