Doesn't Chad have to win some races to be "handed" the championship?
Riders and drivers in all forms of motorsport have won championships due to bad luck and or incompetence of their compeditors.

Go Chad Reed !!

Can you not tell people about the 250cc class.

For sure, the 250 class is where its at!! Put Dungey and Pourcel on 450's and they would be winning just the same. Congrats to Searle, first podium, Barcia(the guy that will take it to Stewart) will win his first moto in two weeks time.

Reed has basically been handed a championship cup.
With Villipioto Stewart and Alessi out there is really nobody standing in his way.

He may have a fight after all, I just read that Mike Alessi plans to race the next round and was training 24 hrs. after having his knee cap screwed back together. :)

To the clueless posters that said that the championship is being handed to him. Did you see Chad Reed take on Tedesco last week? I have never seen two guys try harder to win a race. Chad Reed puts his heart and soul into racing, he doesn't make excuses, he doesn't put other racers down, and he gives 100% in every race. He has been fighting a stomach ailment all season and still consistently in the top 5. 40 talented Motocrossers started the season and Chad is at the top, if that doesn't impress you then why don't you get out on the track and show us why y'all have the right to sh*t on someone who is actually putting it all on the line.
