Teutschenthal to host 2013 Motocross of Nations

During last weekend's 2009 FIM Motocross Grand Prix of Germany, series promoter Youthstream and German GP organiser MSC Teutschenthal renewed their cooperation and announced that the circuit will host the 2013 FIM Motocross of Nations.

With the exception of that season, Teutschenthal will continue to host grand prix motocross until 2015.

“This is a great day for Motocross because it is absolutely fantastic having the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations in Germany, the Moto Club Teutschenthal really deserves it,” said Youthstream president Giuseppe Luongo.

“The Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations returns to Germany after 24 years! And this prestigious venue is one of the columns which keep the FIM Motocross World Championship strong.

“We are also delighted to be renewing the MXGP contract until 2015 showing the solidity of the partnership between Youthstream and the MSC Teutschenthal. We really hope the political authorities and the ADAC continue supporting the MSC Teutschenthal and this prestigious event, with the possibility of doing more than they already do.

“Fans around the world need to know the MXGP is in Teutschenthal every year in June and the Red Bull FIM MXoN is in Teutschenthal in September 2013.”
