Along the terms of the deal,
Motors TV will not only show the MX2 live races, but also show full repeats of the MX1 races later in the week and delayed coverage of the FIM Red Bull
Motocross of Nations.
The FIM
Motocross World Championship is the latest addition to
Motors TV's motocross line up, which already includes the AMA
Motocross Championship, the Belgian
Motocross Championship and Freestyle magazine M80.
"This is a major step in the
Motocross line-up we've been building over the last few years, MX2 LIVE is definitely the new Top of the list. The series is incredibly spectacular and boasts a real interest for the
Motocross fans as many young riders are involved, and those are the next top-guns!" said Frédéric Viger,
Motors TV's head of programming & acquisitions.
The 2008 FIM
Motocross World Championship season will start on April 6th at Valkenswaard, in the Netherlands.
