Phillip Island test times - Friday

MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner completed a dominant test with a record-breaking qualifying lap almost one second clear of Nicky Hayden, on a day when most riders used soft rubber to set their best lap times.

The test was attended by the majority of teams and riders - with the notable exceptions of Fiat Yamaha and Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa (injured). Kawasaki's John Hopkins was also absent on the final day, having injured his groin on Thursday.

Both Pedrosa and Hopkins hope to return to action at the Jerez IRTA test from February 16-18. Fiat Yamaha will be back on track at Sepang from February 5-7.
