Sepang III test times - Tuesday

The three-day test is being attended by Fiat Yamaha, Repsol Honda and Honda Gresini, plus the Yamaha and Kawasaki test teams.

Nicky Hayden is again the only Repsol Honda rider present, following Dani Pedrosa's hand injury sustained at the January test. Pedrosa hopes to return next time out, at the official Jerez test, from February 16-18.

Valentino Rossi set the day one pace with a record-breaking qualifying tyre lap time of 2mins 0.300secs. The Italian's best race tyre lap was a 2min 1.444secs and would still have kept him on top...

Just read it was only the 'normal' engine, not the pneumatic valve spring.
