Rossi leaves Brno beaming

Valentino Rossi is looking forward to the remainder of the MotoGP season after completing a successful two-day test at Brno in the Czech Republic.

Still basking in his victory at the same circuit last weekend, one that puts him 50 points clear of arch-rival Casey Stoner, Rossi concentrated on tyres and electronics aboard his Yamaha before recording the second fastest time of the day on race tyres.

Although Stoner once again set the ultimate pace, Rossi was satisfied with the progress made over the two days and his now looking ahead to the final six races of the season with confidence.

"It's been a long day today but we've found some important improvements in a few different areas so it's been worthwhile, and I am leaving here feeling very happy. We've worked on electronics and it seems we've found some improvements under acceleration, then of course we've worked a lot with Bridgestone on both front and rear tyres.

“We've definitely found some good things in this area as well, helping our agility and stability in the corners and we are faster with these new tyres. It's been a good test and now we are looking forward to the final six battles!"

Team manager Davide Brivio, meanwhile, was pleased to get in some trouble-free running in what is likely to be the last collective test of the season.

"We've had a full couple of days testing and everyone has worked very hard, with great results. This is probably our last test of the season so it's been very important for us to have this chance to check many small things, especially tyres, electronics and setting.

“We have had a long week here in Brno but both the race and the test have been very successful and now we're looking forward to Misano."

Cheers Paul 46,
I know that's what they are looking at & it should be possible as they use the same brand of ECU as Ducati do.

As for the tyre debate well Rossi is not stupid & he had had the mis fortune of running those crap Michelins all year last year & knew they was not capable of winning a champoinship, now you have Danny letting off steam over them too, not only that they don't have valentino on board now do they.
