250: Bautista, Talmacsi tied on day two

Aprilia's 250GP Valencia test concluded with six-time class winner Alvaro Bautista and 2009 class rookie Gabor Talmacsi tied at the top of the timesheets.

Both recorded a best Tuesday lap of 1min 38.1sec, which was one second slower than Bautista's best Monday time. Bautista clocked 44 Tuesday laps and former 125cc world champion Talmacsi 46 laps.

Bautista will remain with Aspar Aprilia for his third season in the quarter-litre class, while Talmacsi's machine will also be run by the Aspar team, but with Hungarian backing.

2008 125cc world champion Mike di Meglio, who will ride alongside Bautista next season, was 0.5sec slower after his 55 Tuesday laps.
