The Nicky fans have gone again I see and they were all here yesterday telling us all about the second coming of the great exworld champ Hayden
I read in dismay when ducati signed Hayden and all the Hayden fans were givin it large about how he was the man for the desmo and Stoner would be left in his wake, thats working well for him Ducati. They should have pulled the stops out last year for Marco who is by far and away a more talented rider than the fraud champion Hayden, but to Ducatis shame they never. I would bet they wished they had as they would had two top riders at the front my last hope now is that they drop the marketing tool for next year and stick Mika on his bike.

Mike

funny comments. as with most fanaticos.. it is when it goes "their" way and not when it isnt. So if nicky sux, he needs more time... get to know the bike... and it is bad luck and bla bla... When there is a glimmer of hope....a flash in the pan...."he'd da man" "he's back!" and bla bla bla

Excluding the first four qualifiers the next 10 are covered by under three tenths of a second. Hopefully that will mean some close racing behind the front runners. At one stage during Saturday's sessions all Ducatis other than CS were running within a few hundredths of a second possibly indicating they are all using a common setup.

regardless of his grid position the signs are far more positive for Nicky than anything we have seen all year, including testing.
an inspirational example of determination by Nicky and his ducati team.
hopefully this will give greater motivation for further improvements.

LOL at desmo fan, clueless. :pI think Nicky can manage a top 10 tomorrow, if he can it will be a marked improvement, and he should get better through out the season.

at least Nicky's not whingeing at every opportunity about how the bike's unrideable, or it's not set up the way he wants like Melandri was. sure he's struggling, but at least he's working hard to try and find a way around it, and not wallowing in self pity, again like Marco was last year.

On a related note, i wonder if the ducati is set up for smaller riders? Casey, Capirex, Kallio are all pretty small, and melandri and hayden are about average height. i wonder if it had a major effect on cornering stability or centre of gravity or something similar?

just throwing it out there...
