Did Casey ONCE congratulate Jorge or Valentino today on TV? Has Casey EVER said he is beaten by the better rider after a loss like that? Jorge does.

I watched it on the BBC, on Eurosport and I watched the press talk too. Not one word, why?

This is why Stoner is disliked so much, sadly.

A truly wonderful talent ruined by a bad sportsman attitude.

Either way, he won't win another world championship again - he doesn't have a 16 km/h advantage and one litre extra fuel economy to play with.

MOTOGP » 'Dead' Stoner clings to podium

For the first nine laps of Sunday’s Grand Prix of Catalunya, Casey Stoner matched the Fiat Yamahas of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo blow-for-blow at the front of the field.

Well done Casey, keep the WC dream alive. A great ride in those conditions for 3rd.
To all the Stoner haters who will pull him to bits, how many laps would you last in 40C heat and riding a physical bike like the Ducati when feeling as sick as a dog.
Probably 2-3 in your armchairs hey???

Stoner is a great rider, but ruins his public opinion by moaning!

Did Pedrosa moan?

Lorenzo declared Rossi the better man.

Please learn from this Casey.

John U Dork, Casey wasn't moaning one bit you pr*t, just mearly explaining that he was totally knackered, something u can't really be when riding a moto GP bike to the limit !!!! :)

have to say, sorry Stoner wasn't at full fitness but the overly dramatic "I'm so poorly" behaviour reminded me of Gibernau holding his arm in 2005... the sitting on the stairs cos he can't stand up? I'm sure he felt ill but he was perfectly aware of the cameras pointing at him! Throw the lad some flowers!

pedrosa on the other hand, looking tired but smiling and waving at the camera showed a lot more dignity!

I'm not a Stoner hater at all, but I do think he was being a bit of a Drama Queen in the pits. Hope he's feeling 100% for Assen so we can see him mixing it with Rossi and Lorenzo.

The Ducati looked to be handling the best it has since Qatar, and then he fell away. His explanation that he was ill would appear consistent with that. Why do some of the adolescents on here misinterpret explanations as 'moaning'. Grow up. Great ride by Stoner!!

nothing to do with growing up Ju, just my personal OPINION (I am allowed one too!) was that Stoner was overdoing the "look how ill I am" in the pits that's all... doesn't alter the fact that I think he's one of the best riders in the world and deserved his 2007 title cos I do... He was just abit OTT with it that's all

Credit to Casey for hanging on to 3rd... he looked very ill at the end. Out of interest, I didnt see the camelbak for Casey does he carry one? being able to take on maybe 1 litre of water during the race would really help in a situation like that...
