Respectful, sensible, positive, grateful, up-beat and likeable.

This young feller is headed for the top, both on and off the track!

It seems inevitable that he should one day take Vale's top spot away from him - I think he is most certainly the most deserving heir-apparent - just hope it's not too soon !!!!.

MOTOGP » Lorenzo: Today’s hero is Valentino

Jorge Lorenzo might be shaping up to be one of Valentino Rossi’s toughest ever rivals, but that didn’t stop the young Spaniard appreciating the Italian’s victory in Saturday’s Dutch TT.

Really good race from Lorenzo, he did very well to recover like he did from a not so great start.
Well deserved champion if he can make it this year or any time in the future.

Acouple of years ago I thought this guy had a talent superceeded in size only by his ego, in other words a loudmouth T1t with a lolipop. Got to admit he seems to have matured a lot in the last year or two. Maybe his big crashes last year brought him down to earth (sic) a little.
A good counter to the Rossi mindgames as well. Go Jorge.

robsee, couldn't agree more. In the 250's I thought Lorenzo was a talented but arrogant little gobshite.

However, since he has arrived in MotoGP he has matured at an alarming rate. He is respectful of other riders, acknowledges them after races, doesn't make stupid excuses and is extremely fast and smart (not to mention brave). You know at Day Of Champions at Donington last year his leathers sold for more than ANYTHING else in the auction (including Rossi's)

People often say that the reason Casey Stoner is unpopular with fans is because he dared to beat Rossi. Rubbish! Lorenzo beats Rossi and the fans love him... Why? His attitude!

Go Jorge, I'll be cheering for you at Donington!

Jorge was employed to replace Vale, when Vale leaves.
Good choice.

Dani crashes and Casey is mentally ill!
