Chris Vermeulen made the most of a strong start to record his best finish of the year so far with a 'boring' fifth place in Saturday’s Dutch TT at Assen.

what a load of buls$#t spies has yet to prove himself yet.. who is he racing against in superbike? not one world champ.. ex motogp riders (checa, biaggi, haga all loosers) every one was bragging about toseland he has done nothing and is on one of the best bikes out there. it was the worst thing that could have happened for ben was haga hurting himself at donnigton. now his world title will not be worth as much and they will make him do another year in sbk

"now his world title will not be worth as much and they will make him do another year in sbk"

So basically you are saying that Bayliss last title was worthless also because he raced against most of the same people. But of course a world title is a world title. And "they" (who ever that is) can't make him do anything - Spies can stay or go at his own choosing.

im not anti aussie,--but cv is just not good enough for moto gp-that bike would be winning races with a good rider on it , if its not (down on power one week) its (not handling the next) always (improving on the set up)?????? for years ,you would think he should have it sorted by now? (tip)if your bored ?? ride it harder.

by the way, like they say "the cream always rises to the top at assen" he came 5th would have been 7th if not for the repsol boys not going down, but he deserves to been in motogp. others will have to go back to wsb or motogp2
