Strange how we dont hear about bike advantages anymore on these forums.

Since Rossi CLEARLY has a superior bike the last 2 years there are no longer protests about the "unfair" horsepower advantage, tyre parity or calls for the banning of electronics now that Rossi is without doubt on THE best motorcycle.

The hypocrisy is beyond belief.

In 1996 I saw a kid won his first race in Brno. After 13 years I saw a man to win 100 race at my home Dutch TT.I was spellbound to see the man who still has the same dedication & will power as he had in Brno.I salute the doctor who is indeed the master of the Cork Screw corner

I'm hoping for a close battle this weekend. It would be great if Rossi, Lorenzo and Stoner had a 3 way fight to the finish. Vermeulen normally goes well there also, he could get another top 5.

I feel Laguna will be the most exciting and incredible
races we will see this year apart from Catalunya. Zo and Stoner know that if Rossi wins three in a row he will roll on to win the Campionship once more. How many times has Rossi put his head down and gone on his classic streak of winning races back to back to back to back in order to break his challengers over his career? More times then I can remeber. Zo and Stone know they must not let him win at any cost because they would go into the mid-season break with Rossi extending his points lead while they mentally psyche themselves out of battling him from that point on while they putter about in their spare time until racing resumes.

I predict an awesome race this weekend!!! Battles going on all through the field, from first to last. Wish there could be 52 races on the calendar :)

If anyone can do it he can. Stoner is nowhere due to his bout of Yamaha-itis and Lorenzo will probably throw the bike at the scenery on the cork-screw if he is trying to defend from Rossi. Laguna Seca is definately the best track of the year (with Brno a close second), and it is also one of Rossi's strong circuits.

Race prediction:

1. Rossi
2. Lorenzo
3. Edwards
4. Stoner
5. De Puniet
6. Toseland

I want to see Vermeulen on the podium again this year. My wife - a Rossi fan - has won almost every bet this season. I would LOVE to win this one.
Go Chris !

Dont forget Edwards.....remember how far back he came from in 2006 to finish second....I would like Ducati to win, but really as long as it is exciting and close, I will be happy .......anyway it must be Jorge or Casey's turn, remember we want a close finish for the title:)

Nowadays Rossi look unstoppable, Yamaha on good performance or may on the peak this year. Race will be boring. Only JL can make the race different. We hope he brave enough to make retaliatory attract, do what usually Rossi do to other riders, push from inside at the last corner and if needed by crossing circuit line. That the race.

I cann't wait for Sunday! Looks as if Valentino finally got in terms with this difficult track last year. The years before he did not look too convincing around Laguna Seca. The 08 race was the most spectacular show on twe wheels I have ever seen in my life. That race must be freaking Casey out from time to time and waking him up in his dreamless nights.
