This is his Bogey track if he admits it or not. He is in brilliant form but hasn't mastered Laguna's characteristics yet so it will be interesting indeed and a vey exciting race with the potential to be one of the very best clashes outside of Catalunya with Rossi threatening to go on his classic championship deciding win streaks of bak 2 bak 2 bak 2 bak victories only to be followed by consistent podium finishes 2 maintain his points lead and wrap up the title. LOZO and STONER know this and this maybe the race they ride to the death in order to prevent the Rossi Blackhole from sucking them in. I can't wait.

did i read somewhere that young jorge has been utilizing the many wonders of meditation? i'm sure i did...
or is this meditation an effort to memory wipe certain 2008 issues such as high-side catapult rides and death threats from his bitter x-manager.
from the (very) outside it seems like the kid has grown from an arrogant young brat to a refined competitor defining himself as a classic spanish gentleman gladiator!
if his on track performances continue to reflect his off track progress (& vice versa) he is going to be a great champion regardless of statistics in my humble opinion.

Lorenzo should do ok at Laguna. He had a decent pace in the FP's and QP last year, had he not highsided he would have finished fairly well I think. With a better bike, more experience, and better tires now there's no reason why he can't do well this year.

Im not sure Jorge ever was an arrogant young brat. I think it had more to do with his manager at that time, who recently got arrested for blackmailing Jorge. I think the whole Dani / Jorge thing was his doing.

That was a horrible highside last year at Laguna, one of a couple that gave him the nickname 'Air Lorenzo' at the time. Looked like a case of cold tyres.
I think he has learned and won't make the same mistake again. Just like Rossi learned from his crash at Assen '08.

Why on earth did The Morgue get 46 disagrees for his totally innocuous post? Or is there a significance in the number?

mangocrazy, I've noticed this too for a couple of days now, at least since last saturday. If you check the comments on the post Assen articles you'll see pretty much the same thing, every single one of his comments has loads of "disagree". Probably one of the troglodytes that infest crash.net just to bash riders, be it Rossi, Stoner or whoever. Some people are just have no life!
