Just amazing, 20 laps with a long string of one 1:32 lap after another. He definitely has the race pace but he had it at Assen too. Should be a good race Sunday.

I'm glad to see this kid did well today.
This should put last year's mishap far in the back of his mind and have a full switch to 'I can win this'.

i'm a rossi guy through and through, but lorenzo's a star. i can't decide which i want to see more, lorenzo staying on a factory yamaha, so that every weekend is a nail-biter, or lorenzo moving to hrc with dovizioso. either way we get great racing.

check out the yamaha "office" skit if you haven't. they're all good, but lorenzo struck me as the funniest.

very fast, but ithink rossi has the upper hand cos has more experience on this track in terms of race laps he knows where you can go of line and overtake lorenzo has only done half a lap in a race so fare around laguna seca. so the start will be very important he has to get a better start than assen

Impressive. He has negligible experience here and his pace is right on the money.

This guy learns so fast! Valentino is about to face the toughest competitor he has ever had! Personally, I am a Rossi fan, but JL is really there... I think the atmosphere at Yamaha will get hotter and hotter and in the end one of them will leave.

I didn't like Jorge when he was in 250cc but now he seems to me like really likeable guy and I am slowly becoming his fan. I don't want him to go to the Repsol, he at Yamaha together with Vale forms my dream team.

Go Lorenzo and win this year before, Rossi(the farce) wants the rules changed again in his favour when he figures out that another young boy can beat him fair and square on a similar bike.
