MOTOGP » Stoner may have torn groin

Already struggling with a mystery illness that has left him sick and exhausted after the last two rounds, the last thing Casey Stoner needed was a huge highside at the end of Saturday’s qualifying session at Laguna Seca.

Maybe this is going to work in Casey's favor by taking his mind off other problems.

Not what we wanted to see. Lorenzo is banged-up too.
Alright Casey, deep breath and go tomorrow.

OUCH!

get well soon Casey and I repeat, a torn groin... OUCH!

I had the same "condolence" for Troy Baylis in 2007 when he suffered a (as he put it) "split atom" at Donington. OUCH!

Protect those family jewels guys! Perhaps a cricket-type "cup" mght be the new protective fashion?

Very good explanation of what happened and I am sure true fans will appreciate it.

Lets hope both are well enough to give Rossi some challenge.....But I am very doubtful :)

Are you serious mate he gave the exact same reason that lorenzo gave, and he only said that backmarkers slowed him down and didnt allow him to get enough heat in the tyres.

grow up
get over yourself
and give yourself an uppercut for that dribble :?

Is it me, or are there an unusually greater frequency of riders waiting around for a tow? If you're going to sit on the track, coast, argue, do whatever it is besides throw down a lap time, pull over and get the heck out of the way. Get off the race line, in fact, get off the track! Just pull over in the gravel and grow some cajones and put down a fast lap on your own. I know Stoner has been whining a bit, but these incidents with riders standing on the track is getting ridiculous and race direction needs to start handing out infractions.
