Hayden is right. It's sad when there are more errors in qualifying than during the race that result in injuries.
We don't want to see our Riders get hurt during qualifying.
This leaves the field short or impaired. We all want to see close races and it's difficult enough without having to ride injured.

so true... and i think why they are not two tyre again like before or 3 tyre option with michelin and dunlop and put the rules back the way they were before the new tyre rule which limiting quantity of the tyre itself out......actually michelin tyre much better than bridgestone if the DORNA non limiting te quantity of the tyre for each race

Interesting points by Hayden. Definetly not a good thing for MotoGP when

1. Two of the three title contenders almost got hurt seriously
2. Almost was 2 less riders in an already few starting grid

Great result Nicky and very well said regarding the safety aspects.
Its great to see that you can rise above those who are very quick to criticise, you will have your day of that I'm sure.

@stuartst4 "you will have your day of that I'm sure"

He did, I was there at Cheste and watched Valentino slide off right in front of my stand....

Joking aside, I am really happy to see Nicky getting to grips with that thing, he was getting stitched up so royally by the cosy Puig/Pedrosa setup at Repsol before this as well.

tyre rule blah blah blah. you dont have qualifiers so stop running like you do. there are limits. qualifiers produced unrealistic lap times and im glad there gone.

Seems to me its less to do with qualifers or number of tyres and more to do with quality. One make rule limits competition and perhaps makes for complacency. Hope no one gets killed before the tyes get sorted.

great to see nicky getting towards the front again the last two races there has been trouble in qualifying maybe they should make the session an extra practice and then split the field ( top 8 finishes from last race out first then the last 10 riders ) give them 15 min qualifying session each that would stop slow guys looking for a tow and with less traffic you could concentrate on putting a good lap together

Well lucky for you that you did not crash Nicky I would hate to think you bruised your Vagina and on the bright side the more people fall off in front you Nicky the higher up the field you will finish as it's the only way you can do it

Concerned? Maybe. But once again is benefited, not only for qualifying but most importantly the race. In 06 he was certainly not sympathetic that half of the field was limping around...
