Lorenzo is currently in the same position as Criville riding next to Doohan.
He can use the bike developed by Rossi, check his setup and make the best of it.
If he goes to Honda he would have to pull the cart and that is a different ballgame.

Perversely, I'd like to see him join Honda. The competition between him and Pedrosa on & off the track would be interesting to watch.

Wake up you arrogant little man, you are not going to beat Rossi with the same bike as him, you only stand a chance on another, better machine. Even then it is far from guaranteed.

If he does go to honda I wonder who fill his seat ? With the no rookies on factory bikes rule it would have to be one of the current riders. I like the idea of capirossi on a works yamaha.

The people suggesting a honda ride make me laugh.
Anyone in the right mind knows the honda is a piece of garbage.
How much was it, like a year without a win?
Do you think honda all of a sudden are going to change their arrogant ways to give Lorenzo a top bike? LOL.
These are the same people that let Rossi go to yamaha because they thought they were the center of the universe.
They are extremely arrogant, keep making stupid decisions, don't listen to rider input (yes including DP) and have been chasing their tail for enough time to make any rider with a championship aspiration stay away from them.
Unless JL is after the fat paycheck ( I sure hope not) honda is a no no. Honda sucks big time

Stay put Jorge! You have a long career ahead and will make ridiculous amounts of money anyway. Right now you're in the groove with probably the best team and bike on the grid. Don't mess with a good thing.
