Lorenzo is completely over rated. He his only fast because he rides the best bike that was developed by Vale and even copies all his settings. Without Vale in the team to set the bike up for him then Lorenzo would not have anything like the same success. Lorenzo also over exaggerates his injuries just to make him look braver than what he really is, while Pedrosa just quietly gets on with the job without all the drama. To mention Lorenzo in the same breath as the great Vale is blasphemy. When Vale retires then Lorenzo will not have a clue and will fade away...

An incredible ride by Jorge in the USA. That he managed to finish in that position and almost overtake Rosi while the rest of the field were as usual, a mile off the pace is the stuff of true legends. Hope he does well in Germany and the UK before the well earned summer break! :)

Yup, the legend that is Jorge Lorenzo is already starting to form isn't it?! :)

A super hard tough nut who will not fall to Rossi's mind games and will give as good as he gets, that is for sure!

Go Lorenzo, will you all the way!

Full Respect. What a dude. :)

Sometimes these guys just are just plain crazy.

just one tiny little but....Notwithstanding his podium last year on broken ankles.....lets hope he is careful and lets his injuries heal if they need to heal - last year pushed it way too far and suffered unnecessarily for it.

Need him at his best to ensure the 2009 title is won fair and square.

The article headed 'Lorenzo: My first option is Yamaha' should read 'Yamaha: Our first option is Lorenzo'.

I've always been a Rossi fan, but I can't help but really like Jorge. the kid is a MAN.

Maybe the most talented rider in the world. It seems to me he's just a little bit faster than Rossi, but rossi is just a little bit cleverer.

I love Lorenzo's attitude too. Never makes excuses. Rides thru injuries that would have me screaming for my mommy. the kid is really special and will win multiple GP championships before it's done.

It is great to see such positive stuff being said about Lorenzo, instead of the slagging that Rossi's rivals usually receive. :p

Is this mainly down to the simple fact that Jorge doesn't make up any excuses and just tells it as it is?

I am currently reading his book and it is really, really good. It gives a great insight into his character and how he is "was?" seen to be cocky and arrogant.

Jorge is an extremely intelligent and complex guy and for sure he has the right mentality to reach the top in the premier class.
