So now were back to slamming backmarkers again?
Saw the interview, him telling the track was to bumpy and that they shouldn't race cars at PI anymore...
What this kid really lacks is class.
He's been fastest all weekend, runs laptimes like no one can and will probaly win it hands down on Sunday,
so what's with the grumpy face? Is that professionalism?
If you can't stand other people go dragracing, you'll get your own lane ;)
Look at Rossi, comes in second:
'I'm really happy because today it was great fun to ride my M1 around this track, which I love.
Great fun, great time - but not enough.' that's a great sportsman for you :)
Go Vale!

MOTOGP » Stoner: It wasn't the best idea...

MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner suffered his 'worst session' of the Australian Grand Prix weekend so far during qualifying at Phillip Island, partly due to some unsuccessful tactics.

This man has dedicated his whole life to winning the most prestigious class of motorcycle racing in the world, wins his WC through his family's unwavering support and sacrifice, the next thing he has to do is dominate like every WC before him and stamp his supremecy on the field, thats his gole He has the WC now he has to follow through by topping every time sheet , winning every sesion thats what champions do he his folloeing in the footsteps of his idols. So he gets peeved when he does'nt and you bitch about it like you have a right to tell him how to be a champion. Casey is to most fair minded peaple a class act, A stand up guy and you try to take him dow for that, your sick in the head.

Some people really do mix being a great rider and being a top class entertainer. Stoner might be boring looking and his interviews might be dull (when all they are is the honest thinking of a man totally focused on racing).
I agree Stoner when off his Ducati seat is bland compare to Rossi, but he's a great champion and this year, he totally ERADICATED all the other riders. Live with it.

Now, if I want a show, I rent a DVD or i go see a gig, I don't expect Stoner to be flamboyant and behave like Iggy Pop or The Scissor Sisters nor do I expect the singer from Coldplay to be an amazing motorbike champion.

I agree with most of the above, even ace27, but he is winger. He can ride a bike for sure but nowdays there is more to being the WC. He is now an ambassador and could learn to behave as such. Perhaps be a little more diplomatic. I guess he is still young and maybe that will come.

put stoner in charge at dorna, i think there will only be two races a season and five riders on the grid and no quallifying so there don't follow him, being no1 stoner has the right to go round the track in peace and not be followed by anyone.

If Casey carried on like Rossi then all the Rossi fans would bag him for COPYING Rossi. I watch Lorenzo and his pathetic antics and think to myself - what a *******

At least Casey only whinges about things that happen on the track. Rossi and Pedrosa are whinging about how they no longer have a big advantage.

He's focused. He seeks perfection. He's racing himself.

You can have two mindsets...the one that looks at what you can do well and builds on that , OR...the one that looks at were you have problems, because there there is room for improvement.

He wants to be the fastest. He's driven...he's just looking at the problems cuz thats where he's losing time.
