Hmm, Not sure if you have ever raced but a win by 1 second or a win by one minuite is still a win, Casey has ridden better than everyone else this year with the best package. Its not his fault he has been in top form on the best tyres and best bike .Mr Rossi would have moaned like ferk if he had gone to a team with bridgestones a few years ago now he wants them, Will it make him better equiped to challenge Ducati, I very much doubt it, A change of tyres on the Yam will throw up problems that they have had all year with michelins, Its a complete package that wins championships and that is exactly what Ducati have had all year.

What is so unbelievable ??

To win a race with a gap more than 1 sec is not funny anymore...

One subject that is very debated on every motogp forum is that: TYRES ARE RUINING the fun of this sport. There are also exceptions (we saw Lorenzo did)... but in motogp the difference is too big. Did you see how Capirex made it up at the end?

This whole season was boring. The 125 had the most nice races. In motogp there were 2 I think.

PS: I think that stoner won the race with a dog fight only once...

Hey can someone help.
I just bought MotoGP 7 for PC.
Great game but problem.
Every time I play Rossi game goes very slow and I never win.
Any body know what problem is?
Keep getting error messages about tyres or bike or something but must be something else?

Very droll Mr. Reaper!
What I think you need is the cheat code that Rossi had in previous versions of the game, where he gets the best bike and grade A special overnight tyres. I think this might solve your problem!

If tyres and Ducati's power where such a big problem then Capirossi should have been second all season. Sure there are differences but I don't think they are the root cause of Casey's dominance. Its just a lucky convergence of powerful bike, new bike that suited the way Casey's style and Bridgestones.

Then there's always the argument if you mandate tyres for equalness, then why not engine's, frames, etc

Andrew P

you are on the ball and 100% correct.

it's the total package that is working. Stoner is able to work with his engineers and get the right settings. They are getting the suspension sorted, which is helping with grip and wear of the tyres.

Mate it's no good having a Hp advanatge if you cant get the power down and get the grip in the mid corner.

Seems a few people are quick to blame the tyres. Seems Jeremy Burgess, a renouned engineer with 11 odd championship under his belt, is looking beyond the tyre debate.

I have always said this tyre thing is overated, the root cause for Yamaha is Yamaha, the root cause for honda is honda. Blaming michelins just helps the bike company's retain sales. This year like never before Ducati's flagship sportsbike is cheaper than ever and is within reach of larger numbers of new bike buyers. On a personal note Im gla michelin sux as I've never liked there fronts or the way the rear spins out, I prefere dunloooops and Battle axes for the front side grip and respnse and the rears cus when they spin the bike stays nutrual or stands the bike progressivly.
