How can a guy whos won 7 world titles, broke so many records came 2nd in the championship when the bike and or tires havnt been as competitive be ordinary? Every rider has commented that when they have been behind Rossi he looks like he is workin the bike and himself so hard to make what is a rubbish bike so competitive where is Colin and most of the other guys on mich's rubber? Too many people r talkin as if Rossi is past it, a has been. He still has World champs in him. He might win the title next year and everyone will remember just how good he really is, afterall a true champ is able to go through the bad times and still have the skill and passion to win at what they love to do the best.

The bike is too damn slow. He compensates for the to slow bike and the tires can't cope. Put Rossi on Bridgestones and we still have the problem that his bike is too slow.

I found him quite fast to be honest, he ran the 'normal' engine, was way down on topspeed but
was chipping away at Hayden in the early stages and still managed to beat Pedrosa on a way faster Honda,
the next best Michelin guy. His main goal (besides having fun) is securing second place and he gained some points.

look where colin was the whole season. i dont care if stoner wins 15 races in ayear. if he was oin the yamaha hed be crashing every other weekend. what rossi s done with that pos yam this year to me is even worthier than mst of his championships.

if he gets a decent package next year, he ll win again. not the best package, just a decent one

Racing with Pedrosa that made Rossi slower. Even Hayden ahead of both Michelin runners with topspeed not even go over 310kph before the engine failure.

When Capirossi came by, you could see Rossi was looks much better but the tires already being used up so much for the silly early laps battle with Pedrosa. It's like Capirossi remind Rossi, it's the rhythm not the powers.

chu, yes maybe the Yamaha is "that bad", but still Colin and Rossi must take some blame!!
There job is also to develop the bike, and when Yamaha have as some claim
two of the best riders concerning development, then they failed to do some of
the work!
There where times when Rossi struggled also on the 990cc which him and Colin
rode for two years.
In my opinion we give too little credit to Vitorio who is the test rider of Ducati

True zydon, he was trying to follow Capirossi and that made him able to be dragged away from Dani.
Stoner had gone in the distande, no reference point there.
But he also went on the grass coming out of the last turn and really lost contact there.
Watever... new race next week ;)
