I am a huge Rossi fan, but I dont care who wins at the weekend - just as long as its a close exciting race (he'd better win at Valencia tho, because Im going ;) ).

Face it - there have only been 4 this season - mugello, catalunya, assen and estoril. I really miss the battles beween gibernau, biaggi, capirex and rossi - 2005 was an excellent championship!!

I seriously doubt Stoner has to try that hard tho'. His bike has been awesome this year! :p

MOTOGP » Stoner: I'm still trying hard to win races

With the MotoGP title under his belt, nine race wins, the constructor's title in the bag for Ducati and the team award, it would be understandable if Stoner and his crew wanted to put their feet up, but that is not the case.

Remember after Estoril how all the Rossi fans were saying "oh Rossi is back - he's going to whoopass Stoner from now on..."

I rate Mr Rossi very highly but I do delight in him loosing -
Just to see the fanatical fans eat their words.

How I laughed at Motegi...

How I guffawed at Philip Island...

:-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o :-o

Kees

I don't see where pauly has bagged out Val. I think he is having a dig at the fanatical fans. Where is the lack of respect?

Maybe it's time to accuse Stoners comments as been arrogant.

I cannot see how Stoner is going to lose in Malaysa since the Dukes always went well there. The resurfacing of the track may play a big part in the race, and I hope this will give us some close racing to watch.
I also agree with ashwin, some people really need to grow up. Every post lately has been about Rossi this Rossi that, Casey this Casey that. All I can say is all you experts (without a bike license) go get some wheels first (push bikes dont count). To me Rossi is the greatest of all time, but I am also a Stoner fan just as I am a Lorenzo fan. This is becasue they are just unbelivable riders. Anyone remember Lorenzo, Stoner and DeAngelis racing in the 125s? How fun was that to watch?

Oh didums...

I thought Nicky Hayden was marvelous last year too.

Lorenzo could make things very interesting in 2008.

Fanatical fans - I'm almost going to wet myself...

Franklin Brown,

Besides Adriana, I am Stoners biggest fan, so take care... :) :)
(I hope he didn't drink to much yesterday)

I don't think that Lorenzo is capable beating Casey, Vale, Marco and Pedrosa so he will be around position 5 I guess, with maybe 1 or 2 podiums, but you never know..

perfect time/situation to bring out the 08 bike. Since Suzuki is going to be testing there 08 the next, I assume Ducati might have their's there to test Monday anyway. Let Stoner get some race work in on it.
