Rizla Suzuki team manager Paul Denning has confirmed that Suzuki's reigning double AMA Superbike champion, Ben Spies, will test a GSV-R during Monday's post race outing at the Malaysian circuit.

Isn't he 5'9"?? five foot nine inches is pretty darn big to be on one of these lil' proto-rockets. I think he weighs around 165lbs.

So....unless he's dropped 15 pounds of lard since he won the AMAsbk Ch'ship, I don't think he'll be all that fast.

Yeah Spies is a little on the 'large' size comparatively speaking in
motorbike racing terms, but I think kevin schwantz was a near 6 footer and Val
Rossi is over 6'. Ben seems well put together, so maybe his extra weight will
allow his to muscle the bike around in ways lil' guys like Pedrosa and
Lorenzo can't. :)
