I'm sick of reading this, race after race. It's like giving Roger Federer a baseball bat and expecting him to win Wimbledon.

Hey Grumpy Doctor - are you REALLY suggesting that Dunlop tyres are better than Michelin? If you read what Clyde said, he clearly recognised that Guintoli was on Dunlop.
Try reading the threat before posting Eh :? :? :?

Now Rossi is not getting special tyres made for him we can see his true form. He is good but not the god that people try to make out.
Its about time that Stoner was given the credit for what he has achieved this year. Do you see anyone else on Bridgestones with results close to his.

Rossi get back in your box and stop trying to change the rules just have to try harder.

Wow Rossi has complained about everything this year, not since Max Biaggi has someone complained sooo much. I dont remember anybody complaining soo hard about substandard equipment as Rossi. When Rossi won 5 titles nobody complained like thie ever. Rossi has had it his way for to long now he is stuggleing with the reallity every other rider has had to deal with since racing began, not the best equipment.
I guess he is not the champion most thought of him as. when the tough get going Rossi gets crumbling.

Interesting comment by Vale in MCN this week: "You can win on a bad bike with good tyres (refering to his 1997 campaign) But you can't win on a good bike with bad tyres"
Regarding the latter comment, I am interpreting that as a reference to this season!!! (Although, he has stated he's not happy with the bike either, so it's not even a good bike!)

If Vale is so good though, perhaps he should stay with Yamaha & Michelin & help make the bike & tyres better.

Is Vale saying it the tyres & NOT the bike OR the rider that maketh the title winning combo???

I do think he'll win the title if he's on Bridgestones next year! but sadly, this season has brought out the worst in Vale!!!

Clyde asks ''If the Yamaha is so bad, how come Guintoli managed to get the Tech3 Yamaha up to 7th?''.

The answer to this question is because Guintoli is on DUNLOP tyres that Rossi/Edwards do not use.

I would have thought any 'fan' of Moto-GP would be aware of this after an entire season comes to and end? :p

I have to question 2 things. Rossi is supposed to be a one of the best at setting up a bike and talking to his engineers. This was proved when he made the switch from Honda to Yamaha. I cant understand what the difference has been the past 2 seasons. All we have heard is how brilliant he was, now we hear excuses from the fanboys, with NFI.

2nd is Rossi totally dedicated to Motogp and getting the Yamaha issue sorted? Seems to me that Rossi has his mind on doing the rally of GB. You would think with the bike performing so poorly, he would be putting all his efforts into testing and sorting the issues and not wandering off to do a rally or 2.

Yep it's the bike and not the rider ;)

Interesting that everyone thinks that Rossi is the best "development rider" out there, yet the bike that he has obviously been the developer on for several years now is worse than ever. And he blames the bike. Curiouser and curiouser.

Lets do a reality check !!! The only interesting races this season are the once in which Rossi had a competitive bike. I am not saying Rossi should win all races or championships, but i can assure you that when he is ON.. the thrill is Aamaaazing :).

And i am saying this on behalf of all you fantastic Motogp fans, who love this sport for the sole reason 'EXCITEMENT'. Lets hope that comes back soon in Motogp..:(

I have to agree with layton keske, you dont just forget to ride a bike, some people on this forum post **** & obviously don't engage the brain before they speak.

As for the bike i used to think the bike was a pretty decent machine but it seems that Yamaha are just not making a decent bike, we know the tyres are not so bad as Dani is up there at the front, what baffles me is how the **** have they managed to screw it up.

I know Yamaha are working hard but they are obviously going in the wrong direction, I hope were not going to see yet another year next year with a below par Yamaha.
