Rossi's apparent loss of "over ability to do miracles" has most to do with the 800's being one-line machines with much shorter braking zones than the 990's. You can't square-off corners to make up for a poor setting or worn (or simply poor) tires like they used to. The rider can't make the difference on the 800 as much as the 990's allowed. Listen to anyone with half a brain in the paddock and they'll tell you this. The Rossi bashing here is really ridiculous.

MOTOGP » Rossi fears the worst

After qualifying just ninth on the grid, and failing to find a competitive race set-up, Valentino Rossi fears he has little chance in Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix.

Mmmm, Looks like Yamaha have a problem here. Cant blame the tyres on this one as Dani got pole....Its not like Vale to be negative.

What, if Rossi gets Bridgestones and Lorenzo will be faster on Michelins? Probably he will demand hs 990 back, exclusively for him. Rofl.

it seems like this weekend, yamaha are having the problems suzuki had last weekend, its like the bike just doesnt want to work here and its having real problems laying down any grip.

shame cos rossi usually goes well here and it would have made for a good race to see him pedrosa and moaner going for it at the front, hopefully temp. will be lower tomorrow or maybe it'll be raining, should make things interesting!

Yeah, Grim Reaper, we all know that it's Rossis fault. He's a crappy rider, right?

Grim reaper: Rossi's worst ever finishing in Moto GP & 500cc by the end of a season is 2nd place, such a poor performance huh... :?

Go read up on Rossi's track record and re-evaluate how the two words 'poor and 'Rossi' are possible within the same sentance.

It's like an Fernando Alonso fan calling Michael Schumacher a 'poor' driver when he finishes 2nd in a championship yet wins 7 other times.

Bonkers.

You would have to be an idiot to not realise that it's the Yamaha wasting the tyres.

As for poor performances, I've yet to see "anyone" else produce a performance like Assen.

Heard Rossi got himself a new sponser for next year - Kleenex. It's not fair Casey has Bridgestone tyres...Casey has better electronics...Casey has a faster bike...I'm not playing anymore I'm off to WRC where I can get an even bigger portion of whooass from Sebastion Loeb.
